Can I bum a beer?
A homeless man allegedly broke into a California bar and served drinks to unsuspecting patrons all weekend -- before police came calling.  The bar, called the Valencia Club, had gone out of business for some time and its liquor license had expired, police said this week.

But the suspect, Travis Lloyd Kevie, 29, somehow got into the California establishment in the Penryn area of Sacramento Valley last week. He reopened the bar using beer he bought from a nearby store

Street performers are a dime a dozen around Southern California's Venice Beach area, but one violin player hit just the right notes for Gerard Butler on Sunday. The actor spent much of the day on L.A.'s west side, attending a private Haiti benefit in Santa Monica before hitting Venice Beach with a couple of pals. At the end of the night, heading back to his car, Butler stopped to chat with a woman who had recognized him while playing violin outside on the street. After talking for only a few moments, the two began making out.  After a few smooches, Butler left.  It's unclear if he did the right thing upon leaving and threw a few dollars into the woman's violin case for her trouble.

 Once a symbol of Japan's prosperity, capsules hotels, were built for the businessman who worked too late to catch the train or stayed out drinking all night. They offered all a busy, hard working Japanese businessman could need; a bed, TV, alarm clock and radio all in arms reach for $30 a night.  These ultra modern hotels that where the answer to busy work schedules are now becoming the homes of the homeless in Japan.
