Grunge: Music or how bums look?

The Pacific Northwest; Home to liberalism and capitalism. Where money made in business is used to influence a social agenda transforming a community.  Coffee is king, but technology is emperor and everyone is in love with planet earth.  Even in this latte sipping, microbrew loving, wi-fi in the bathroom region all the technology and dollars can’t seem to solve the issue of street people.  Our research shows that The Stranger recently reported that homelessness in Seattle is down 5%.  Our agents hope to find those missing street people.  Of course it might be that with less money maybe people are not giving change to panhandlers and they have had to find another way to survive (like getting a job).

It has been a long time since our agents have been able to take to the road in search of bum culture in various cities.  This trip will take us into Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon to see if the economic collapse has transformed these cities from leaders in business and social equality or if a collapsing value of your tech stock tosses all high minded principles out the window.

Join us on our adventure to the Northwest where that guy asking you for change for a cup of coffee might not be a bum but a former Chief Technology Officer who can’t afford his $4 double espresso anymore.
