"I recently went to Santa Barbara which is a city geared for bikers. So I rode my bike day and night and unfortunately some street bums there are not too smart. So, as I'm riding along the bike path at 15 mph, all of a sudden I find that I fortunately have very good brakes as I see this bum 10 feet away laid out across both the bike lanes...I almost hit him."
